In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of agronomist" version 13.5.0 has been developed. In the new version the tools have been implemented for input and editing of the metric and attributive description of contours borders of agricultural land with use of multiscale objects and storage of information in spatial databases. "Workstation of agronomist" is the automated workstation constructed on base of the GIS Panorama Mini and the additional module "Complex of agronomical tasks". "Workstation of agronomist" includes tools that allow you to create and edit electronic maps of fields, maintain a land corded book, to work with agrochemical and satellite monitoring data, carry out thematic mapping and generate reports using customizable templates.
The new version of "Workstation of agronomist" provides storage of description of spatial objects in a database under the control of the PostgreSQL DBMS. Objects from a database are presented in the form of the table, each record of which is linked with the corresponding object on a map. There are available the new tools of search for object of a map for the current record, movement through records, editing of records, search, filtration and sorting of data. In the form of a separate table a viewing of the detailed information for current object is possible. Additionally, the interface allows displaying images and multi-line text in a separate screen form.
The program supports multiscale objects having several metric descriptions with different details of the borders of the agricultural land contour. An additional metric for smaller display scales is generated automatically by the generalization method. This approach significantly increases the speed of displaying objects with complex metrics and makes the map clearer when scaling on-screen.
Multiscale objects are the basis for creating multiscale maps that change their detail depending on the current scale. The use of such maps in a packed MPTZ project can reduce the number of created units of spatial information's storage.
A mechanism has been developed for drawing titles linked with map objects, which, when the map image is enlarged, are "pulled" to the object. The distance between the object and the title becomes up to two times less than when scaling without using this technique.

The use of a modern approach to agricultural land management based on Earth's remote sensing data simplifies monitoring of large areas using a large number of indicators. Into "Workstation of agronomist" support of packed MPTZ project has been added. A packed project may include a comprehensive multi-scale representation of the territory in the form of vector maps of different levels of detail, rasters (terrain images) in the rsw format, elevation matrixes and matrixes of qualitative characteristics of the terrain, insets from the same data, the links to data from the GIS Server and from geoportals by various protocols. Maps and classifiers are compressed in 3-4 times, matrixes are compressed in 3-5 times, rasters are compressed in 3-10 time. Each image of terrain in rsw and a matrix in mtw and mtq contain a pyramid of tiles of 4 levels of data presentation - the most detailed base, generalised in the 1/4 scale, generalised in the 1/16 scale, generalised in the 1/64 scale. When displayed, the closest level of data representation is selected. The project may have images of different levels of detail with overlap and a given range of display scales.
Using the external web service Geosys the "Workstation of agronomist" on the basis of a large array of satellite imagery implements the functions of precision farming. The program has the ability to obtain matrixes of the main vegetation indices (NDVI, CVI, EVI and GNDVI) for assessing the state of agricultural land, for building maps of field heterogeneity for a given number of zones, predicting yield based on the dynamics of changes in indicators for different seasons and creating maps for differentiated fertilization for different scripts.
The use of remote sensing data of the earth, the results of satellite navigation measurements, the readings of various sensors and the construction of a corporate agrarian geoinformation system on their basis have already proven their high efficiency in the management of agrotechnical measures and ensuring reliable control of crop cultivation technologies. Using the maps of differentiated application of fertilizers reduce costs and allows to achieve more level of crop yield.
The line of agricultural geoinformation systems of KB "Panorama" includes software products:

"Workstation of agronomist" is integrated with the satellite monitoring service of Geosys company, which provides remote processing and analysis of large volumes of images posted on servers in the data cloud of various space data operators. Based on the results of queries, matrixes of vegetation indices and zoning maps are generated. Sorting data by measurement time allows you to build a slice of information about the condition of crops, vegetation of crops, heterogeneity of arable land and other indicators of land use. Using visualization tools, you can view matrixes of various indicators and graphs of their changes. The storage and processing of matrixes and time series for agrochemical indicators, vegetation indices, crop yields, phytosanitary indicators, meteorological data and other monitoring indicators is supported.
The technology provides the use for the inventory of data of operational space shooting of Earth's remote sensing satellites in combination with materials of shooting from unmanned aerial vehicles. The refined dialog "Select Object" provides an operational update of the object metrics from file formats: SHP/DBF, OGC GML, GeoJSON. To speed up the viewing of information from the semantics of objects, a new method has been added for selecting areal objects on the map, which ensures the selection of the desired object according to its contour, without enumerating all the objects at the map point. The task "Search by name" has been improved, the ability of searching and marking the objects by a list of lines that partially or fully match the value of a specified semantics or title text has been added. The list of lines can be loaded from a text file, pasted from the clipboard, or entered in the corresponding dialog box. The restriction on the text size of a multi-line title on the map is excluded.

When creating maps of heterogeneity zones with automatic selection of images, the amount of information on the contour of the arable land as a whole and for each zone separately was increased. Together with the map, the numbers of the most differing zones, the general level of heterogeneity, the index of heterogeneity and productivity of the entire land plot are saved, and the description of each zone is supplemented by local indices of heterogeneity and productivity. This information can be used in a more detailed analysis of the land plot state.
Into the mode "Viewing Remote Sensing Data" the window has been added for simultaneous viewing the matrixes of several vegetation indexes onto a contour of one agricultural land. This allows you to visually analyze the state of vegetation. The mode is intended for an unloading the maps of zoning by nitrogen of a working plot into a file-task of the onboard computer. Nitrogen zoning maps are loaded to a local disk or GIS Server in the satellite monitoring mode "Obtaining nitrogen demand maps". When unloading maps, the folder structure of the on-board computer is taken into account. The following types of on-board computers are supported: Trimble, Amazone, Raven, AgLeader, JohnDeere, Topcon and others.

In the task "Satellite monitoring", the mode of fast viewing the remote sensing data before loading the matrixes of vegetation indexes has been improved. New options allow you to display values of indexes with a static legend, at which colors of values are predetermined for all range of index values and do not depend on a minimum and a maximum for a concrete contour of a field. The static legend clearly shows the change in vegetation indexes on a working area for different dates, makes it possible to compare vegetation development on the neighboring fields and allows to select quickly images for constructing maps of the differentiated application or the further analysis.
Vegetation indices are numerical indicators calculated on the basis of remote sensing data that reflect the amount of vegetation biomass. In a modern approach to the management of agricultural areas, vegetation indices are used for evaluation of the health of vegetation, a forecasting of crop yield and increase the efficiency of fertilizer application by creating maps of differential application. Complex of agronomic tasks supports an obtaining the main types of vegetation indices: NDVI, CVI, EVI, GNDVI and zoning maps for nitrogen and vegetation heterogeneity.
All modes of satellite monitoring work with database of "Panorama AGRO" and support a placing of data on the GIS Server for maintenance of collective multiuser access. The download source is the Geosys web service.
